This photo was taken at a shop house in blk 128 in ang mo kio and it showed the danger of an illegal structure such as this retractable awning at the back of the shop.Noticed the awning was burn by fire from a cigarette bud.
No one was injured and the owner of the shop is not doing anything to repair it.
Now I know why there is a need for SCDF to be so strict in enforcing such a ruling.
Luckily, SNV is being up graded by the government and now all the shops had solid awning that is also fire proof.
The present of illegal awning at the shops in SNV should also stop as soon as possible.
